Unilever
Working with Unilever, I worked with the development team to deliver the first interaction of their internal product management tool called CARA. CARA helps Unilever staff to create new products and manage packaging copy for all Unilever brands (packaged food, beauty care, healthcare).
Unilever's objective was to reduce the time to market for their new products. Their old timeline required 13-14 months to physically deliver a new product to consumers (from the chemical factory to the supermarket aisle). Working with their staff to gather information on how the current tool worked, I worked with the product team to list required features and improvements. To confirm that these new features helped users, we set up a user testing protocol to periodically assess whether the development and design were satisfying users' expectations. I performed interviews by using the live product or on an interactive prototype built for the occasion.
The team was composed by me, senior UX designer, a UI designer, a technical solution specialist, a product owner and a product manager.
